Figure 1. The moderator and test participant can sit at the same table so they can talk, but they see different screens. The participant sees a blank or color screen—their laptop is functioning only as a webcam to record their facial expressions.
The moderator sees three things on their screen: the webcam that captures the mobile device, the mobile device’s screen mirrored through airplay, and the face webcam.
A screen video capture program records the moderator’s screen for the data record.
